Description
Densmore CFE Prep guides you through the entire CFE process. Our team invests hundreds of hours each year to understand the CFE evaluation methodology, testing trends, and marking expectations, so we can provide you with an accurate reflection of what you can expect on each day of the CFE. This course is intended for writers taking Capstone 2.
We integrate the Capstone 2 module requirements, so you can work from one study plan with a clear strategy to prepare for the CFE. Through the use of original Densmore cases, a Scenario Flowcharts Workbook, online sessions, and more, we’ll help you prepare for CFE success and your future career.
Course Options – Onsite or Online

- Calgary – July 21-23 (Upload submission dates for marked Densmore cases – July 22, July 23, August 26, and September 1)
- Halifax – July 17-19 (Upload submission dates for marked Densmore cases – July 18, July 19, August 26, and September 1)
- Toronto – July 21-23 (Upload submission dates for marked Densmore cases – July 22, July 23, August 26, and September 1)
- Vancouver – July 17-19 (Upload submission dates for marked Densmore cases – July 18, July 19, August 26, and September 1)
Onsite courses are pending sufficient registration numbers and could be cancelled if minimum registration numbers are not met. Registration will close July 13, 2026 for Halifax and Vancouver and July 17, 2026 for Calgary and Toronto.
Register for online:
- With marking: CFE Prep I (Upload submission dates for marked Densmore cases – July 18, August 8, August 26, and September 1; registration will close July 13, 2026)
- With marking: CFE Prep II – (Upload submission dates for marked Densmore cases – August 1, August 8, August 26, and September 1; registration will close July 27, 2026)
- No marking – registration will close August 17, 2026

Day 2 Role
On Day 2 of the CFE, you will respond to the CFE Day 2 case by assuming one of four pre-selected roles: Assurance, Finance, Performance Management or Taxation.
CFE Day 1 Case
The following Capstone 1 cases will be offered for the September 2026 CFE:
- Singular Textiles (version 1) – from the May 2026 Capstone 1 module
- Meadowlark Entertainment (version 2) – from the May 2025 Capstone 1 module
First-time writers must choose the case from the Capstone 1 module they completed, provided that case is available. Candidates who were previously unsuccessful on the CFE and candidates who are challenging the CFE, such as international candidates, can choose from either of the available cases offered for that sitting.
Payment
You can choose to pay a deposit of $300 to secure your spot and access the pre-course materials, or you can choose to pay in full. If you pay the deposit now, the final payment will be withdrawn from your method of payment on June 1, 2026. Please see our refund policy for more details.
